My Vision

Postpartum Doula Chef cooking in kitchen with yellow apron, stirring yellow dish in blue pot on stove, surrounded by baked goods.

Hi! I’m Maggie. Postpartum Pampering is a heartfelt extension of my commitment to nurturing women and children. With a background in preschool teaching, infant nannying, and yoga instruction, caring for others has always been at the center of my work. In my personal life, you’ll find me growing food in my backyard, crafting herbal remedies, or experimenting with nourishing meals in the kitchen.

I believe in a return to community care, especially when it comes to raising children. The early days after birth are a sacred window - a time when mothers need just as much holding as their babies. Using nutrition as a first line of defense, I help new mothers feel grounded, replenished, and cared for.

I’ve studied with The Art of Sacred Postpartum, ProDoula, Be Her Village, Samma Karuna, and learned Mayan Womb Massage from Naan Mimi- a wisdom keeper in Guatemala.

I cook with the intention of creating meals that are both deeply nourishing and truly comforting. Each recipe is designed with your postpartum healing in mind—supporting your body as it recovers from birth, navigating sleep deprivation, and balancing shifting hormones. I also consider the nutrient-dense fuel needed to support healthy breastmilk production. You’ll find inspiration from Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine woven throughout my cooking, honoring traditions that center uterine warmth, easy digestion, and herbal nervous system aid.

Knowing that a postpartum woman is being well-fed brings me immense joy. It is from this love that Postpartum Pampering was born.
